Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2018

The Senate recently passed a bill that sets federal funding levels for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2018. The bill was signed into law on Friday, March 23, 2018. As Chairman of the Interior Appropriations subcommittee and member of the Appropriations Committee, Senator Murkowski had a significant role in crafting the final product, which includes funding programs critical to Alaska, many of which the administration proposed to be cut. From the largest boost in military construction funding in 15 years, to critical investments in infrastructure, to fighting back against the opioid epidemic, this bill will have a lasting impact on our state.
