We are in challenging times as the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting Alaskans at every level. I have tremendous appreciation and thanks for the frontline workers who daily put their health at risk to keep us safe. It’s heartwarming to hear stories of Alaskans stepping up and being good neighbors to their fellow Alaskans. Know that your elected leaders are working tirelessly to address the health and economic impacts at the federal, state, and local level. The federal delegation has engaged in extensive reach out to communities, organizations, and individuals over the past month as we provide updates on the federal relief. Senator Sullivan and I have held weekly teletown halls, to hear from you and answer questions you have about the COVID-19 outbreak, the federal resources available for assistance, and where we go from here. I hope these have been helpful to you in understanding and addressing many of the issues you are facing.
