Now Open Through March 22: Senator Murkowski’s FY2025 Appropriations Request Portals

WHEN: The deadline for requests is Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:59 PM AKT.

BACKGROUND: Numerous appropriations accounts allow for programmatic requests and/or Congressionally Directed Spending requests that meet local, community-driven needs. Senator Murkowski will accept requests for both purposes for the FY 2025 cycle through March 22, 2024. Please see her website—https://www.murkowski.senate.gov/appropriations-and-cds-request-page—to submit a request, view project eligibility and limitations, and for further information.

As soon as the Senate Appropriations Committee releases its final guidance for FY 2025, it will be posted on the Senator’s website. Please check back regularly for the latest updates.


Murkowski Announces Big Wins for Alaska in Six-Bill Appropriations Package

ICYMI—Last week, Senator Murkowski, a senior member of the Appropriations Committee and Ranking Member of the Interior-Environment Appropriations Subcommittee, announced big wins for Alaska within H.R. 4366, the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2024. The measure combines six of Congress’ 12 funding bills for Fiscal Year (2024) and passed the Senate on Friday evening through a bipartisan vote of 75-22.

In addition to many programmatic wins, Murkowski ensured direct investment for a number of projects vital to Alaska’s communities. Click below to see a map of Congressional Directed Spending (CDS) projects she secured: 

Alaska Grant Symposium

          The Alaska Grant Symposium will take place on April 5th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Egan Center in Anchorage.

The Alaska Congressional Delegation is hosting the symposium to educate and inform Alaskans on the opportunities and resources available across the state.
