Murkowski Announces Alaska Travel Schedule for August

Will Hold Four Health Care Town Hall Meetings Across State

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, today announced her plans to travel around Alaska during the August congressional recess. Highlighting her plans are four health care town hall meetings that Sen. Murkowski will hold across Alaska.

Sen. Murkowski’s health care town halls will take place in Fairbanks on Thursday, August 13, Anchorage on Thursday, August 20, Wasilla on Friday, August 28, and Soldotna on Saturday, August 29.

“This August promises to be a busy one for me as I travel throughout Alaska,” Murkowski said. “I look forward to these public meetings so that I may hear from as many Alaskans as possible on some key issues affecting our state and nation.”

Following is a schedule of events that Sen. Murkowski will participate in over the recess.

Tuesday, August 11:
