Murkowski Launches Appropriations Request Page
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski, a member of the Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Appropriations Request form for Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) is now available on her website. Senator Murkowski will continue to honor the earmark moratorium enacted on February 1, 2011; however, she wants to hear directly from Alaskans to know and understand their needs in her role as a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee and as Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee for Interior, Environment and Related Agencies. Murkowski will continue to solicit this information from communities across the state about federal programs and priorities through a request for the (FY20) appropriations cycle. This information will be valuable as the Appropriations Committee works to set funding levels for a host of programs critical to Alaska.
The deadline for FY 2020 appropriations requests is April 12, 2019.
