Senator and New Southeast Coordinator to Hold Open House

Senator Murkowski will host an open house at her Ketchikan office this Friday to meet with Alaskans and also introduce Sonia Henrick – her recently hired Southeast Alaska Representative.  Senator Murkowski is spending much of August visiting many areas to spend time with Alaskans and hear their concerns.

“As a born-and-raised Ketchikan resident, Sonia’s network of friends and contacts in Ketchikan is extensive,” said Murkowski.  “But I want everyone in the First City to come and to see first-hand her expertise in policy issues, and her commitment to Southeast Alaska.”

What: Open House with Senator Murkowski

Where: Murkowski Ketchikan Office, 4079 Tongass Avenue – Suite 204

Henrick came to Sen. Murkowski’s office from Gov. Sean Parnell’s office, where she worked as Deputy Legislative Director since 2010.  She is a graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage with a degree in criminal justice and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Alaska Southeast.
