Murkowski Discusses Effects of Financial Regulatory Reform on Community Banks
Sen. Murkowski said that small banks and credit unions - the backbones in providing consumer lending and credit to many communities - are worried that they may become the unintended victims of the proposed financial regulatory reform legislation that the Senate will likely take up in the near future. Murkowski made her comments at the weekly Senate Republican Leadership news conference.
